Goodbye and Hello—Crossing Rivers of Change
Life can seem like one long goodbye. For a variety of reasons, we let go of people, situations, spouses, children, jobs, communities, and even our health. Facing the unknown can be hard. Engaging a new life is challenging and sometimes resisted altogether. But Christians have this hope: God himself carries us across rivers of change and plants us on the other side. Of course, the ultimate goodbye and hello occurs when Jesus takes us from our earthly life to our new one in heaven. Until that day, we rest in the arms of Jesus who carries us from here to there, from one place to another.
In the seminar, we discuss ways to negotiate change by fostering new life in Christ through his body, the church. Invite your friends, let your church know of this event! Register by calling Desert Hills Presbyterian Church at 480.488.3384.
